Driving
Leave the M6 at junction 36, follow the dual carriage way (A590) into the lake district for approximately 10 miles until you come to a large roundabout, ignore the signs and take the second exit to follow the A591 FOR APPROX. 800 YARDS, take the first right sign posted to Burneside. Follow the road down into the village for 1 mile to the T junction opposite the Jolly Angler pub. It is at this point you will turn left then take the second left opposite the church into St. Oswalds View, follow the road around to No. 4.
Train
The closest station is Burneside which is a five minute walk from the house. The Lake District network connects to the main rail network at Oxenholme located between Manchester and Penrith. From the train station leave the platform and head through the gate to the left, follow the short lane to the end and turn right. Walk approximately 500 yards until you see the church on the left hand side and turn right into St. Oswalds View.
